Loss of a Looney tunes legend

That's right guys. I never though this could happen so soon but yes, here the sad news that might shock every looney tunes fan.


Joe Alaskey. Joe Alaskey has passed away yesterday. Joe Alaskey, the successor of Mel Blanc for voicing Looney tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester,Tweety, Marvin the martian and many others.

Despite not being American  or English, I was really shocked by this news.  I remember I watched Duck Dodgers in english in Youtube before joining DA, and I was kinda charmed by the voices this guy gave to Marvin and Daffy. Same for Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries.
I even talked to him on Twitter months ago, and he liked my compliment about his performance in Duck Dodgers

I'm still... speechless, and I kinda have hard to believe that one of my favorite american voice actor just died of cancer, at only 63 years old... He was too young. But I guess this is life...

However may he rest in peace, alongside Mel Blanc.

Anyways, Joe Alaskey was and will still be for me the best Marvin the martian. Man, he was the best by voicing him.
